Careful prep, clean lines and paint that holds up to Northwest weather, for homes, rentals and businesses.

Freshly painted gray-blue siding with white trim

What we paint

  • Interior walls, ceilings and trim
  • Exterior siding, trim and doors
  • Kitchen cabinets and built-ins
  • Decks and fences
  • Rental and apartment turnovers
  • Touch-ups and pre-listing refreshes

Good prep is what makes paint last

A paint job only lasts as long as the prep under it. Before we open a can, we cover floors and furniture, patch damaged drywall and trim, scrape and sand loose paint, caulk gaps and prime bare spots.

Outside, we also check for soft or rotted wood, because painting over rot just hides the problem. We're carpenters too, so we can fix it on the spot instead of sending you to someone else.

Exterior painting in a wet climate

Between the rain and the moss, Puget Sound weather is hard on paint. We plan exterior work around dry weather and prep surfaces properly so the finish bonds and lasts. Peeling, fading or bare wood, often on the sunniest and most exposed sides of the house, are the usual signs it's time.

Painting for rentals and property managers

Turnovers need to be fast and clean. We repaint units between tenants, patch the wear and tear, and can handle repairs and clean-outs in the same visit, so you deal with one contractor instead of three. How we work with property managers

Painting questions

How much does it cost to paint a house?

Every job is different: the size, the condition of the surfaces and how much prep is needed all affect the price. We'll come out, look at it with you and send a written, itemized quote for free.

Can you paint my kitchen cabinets?

Yes. Painting cabinets is a budget-friendly way to update a kitchen without replacing it.

Do I need to move my furniture?

We cover floors and furniture and work around what's there. It helps if you put away small and fragile items before we start.

Can you fix damaged wood before painting?

Yes. We replace rotted trim, siding and deck boards ourselves, then prime and paint so the repair blends in.
